Good morning everybody! Hope all is well. I hope you all enjoyed Christmas and got some cool presents. I also hope you guys remembered the Savior this holiday season. This week was very long honestly. We weren't able to do much work because of Christmas and weather. We basically only worked Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday it was -30 wind chill here in Kansas, so we weren't allowed outside. Then, on Friday we had our Christmas party which was awesome. But Christmas eve and Christmas we weren't able to do any work because all of our friends were busy. So ya it wasn't a very good week, quite boring honestly. The two days that we got to work were miserable. We knocked and did visits all day and nobody answered or they slammed the door in our face so that sucked. It's been a slow couple of weeks so we are really hoping to pick things back up now that Christmas is over.  Even though we didn't do anything on Christmas and had a dinner appointment bail, it was still ...

Well good morning everybody! How is everybody doing? I've been hearing of lots of snow back home and man does that make me so jealous. It's in the negatives out here in Kansas this week and yet not a flake of snow. We'll see how I handle this weather. Anyways, this week was quite a boring one. My comp got sick Monday night and was sick until Thursday, then on Thursday I got sick so we were dead like all week and couldn't do any work. So, we did a lot of laying in bed all week. Rarely left the apartment all week. But, we finally got to get out on Sunday. Also, we got a call on Thursday that we were getting a new companion the next day. But he couldn't come until we got better so he had to stay with some other elders in the meantime. But ya, we're in a trio now and his name is Elder Lassche. He's super cool. Super excited for the next couple weeks with this trio because trios are a ton of fun. Sadly, we didn't have any cool miracles this week to talk about...

Hey yall, hows it going? Hope all is well. This week was a pretty boring week. Not much success really or any crazy miracles. I'll try to scrap some stuff together for this email. Well this week kinda flew by. Felt like a day honestly. We've been stopping by Brandi and Brother Boldens house every day this past week so we can check up on them about law of chastity and word of wisdom stuff. Trying to get all that figured out so we can get her baptized. But every time we go over there, which is daily, we seem to find a new problem that could hinder with her being baptized. They fight all the time and just create so many problems. But we're glad to try and help. I just hope that she can be baptized one day. Whether it's now or in a year. Pray for them yall! One funny story from this week was on exchanges. Actually it's not really funny and made the week a rough one. But I'll tell yall anyways. Hey yall, how are you guys doing? Hope everything is well and you're all staying safe. Not much crazy stuff happened this week, but it was a good week none the less. Had a couple of cool miracles for sure. First of all, we did a ton of service this week. We didn't plan on any of it but we did it. On Thursday we helped somebody move their entire house while they just sat in their car the whole time. But hey that's alright. That took about 6 hours, and they weren't very thankful after. But it is what it is. Right after that, we went and raked this dudes leaves for 4 more hours until it got dark. Felt like I had the back of an 80 year old man that night. Then, the next day we went back at it for 5 more hours to finish raking the leaves. Although it was tuff and not fun, I am beyond grateful to serve my fellow men, even if they aren't grateful:).  Found a couple people this week which was way more than last week. Hey yall, hope this week was great for you guys. Thanksgiving is definitely not the same out here. But it was still a great day. Food was sub par but it's more about a day of giving thanks than just good food. Good food definitely helps tho. Kansas is Kansas. That's all I can say. This week was definitely the roughest week as far as mission work. We raked all week for random people and nobody cared to listen to a message. Thanksgiving is not a great week for mission work here that's for sure. But there were a couple of good things that happened this week. Last Tuesday, We got our friend Jeremiah to commit to coming to church. I also got a little bit second hand high while we were there. His step son Josh was blowing clouds right in our face and I started to feel weird so we left. Don't do drugs kids! Now the Golden question is, did he come to church? No, he did not. Not much really happened this week, so sorry if it's boring. Had a lot of doors slammed and got cussed at a lot this week. Anyways, we had a couple of interesting lessons this week. The first one was with Brandi and her kids. If you guys remember from last week, she is really crazy and has no filter. So, we went to their house prepared for a long visit because they always have something crazy to talk about. We wanted to follow up on the word of wisdom which she said she would follow, but we went over there and she was vaping so that was sad. But, we also wanted to talk about the law of chastity which is already awkward as it is. Well, good evening yall!! Good to see you guys. Hope yall had a great week. This week we had transfers which was great because I was definitely excited for a new area. So I got transferred to the Park Hill area which is right below Rose Hill and it is even more rural which I didn't think was possible. I got put into a trio for a week with Elder Bryce, and Elder Anderson. We dropped off Elder Anderson on Sunday for NZ. So, that was definitely a hard goodbye. Had some wild experiences this week tho. To explain the title I have to give a little bit of back ground.  My comps had warned me about a family they had been teaching and wanted me to meet them. So we went over there and hung out for a little bit. The boyfriend is an inactive member and the girlfriend is on date. Well not really anymore.
