Well good afternoon yall. What a week it has been. Just kidding it wasn't that interesting. Saturday was super fun tho. Email me tho I love hearing from you guys. Didn't really do much this week except for regular mission work. Although, we did have zone conference which was nice being able to see the zone. Also, it was nice to just relax for a couple hours and listen to people give talks and stuff. So that was good. It was also nice to be able to talk to the president about stuff. President Barr is the man. This is the last week of the transfers so I'm kinda just riding it out. Got some good news this week tho. A bunch of people have been getting their visas to New Zealand. Still haven't gotten mine tho. I'm like the last one to get it lol. But, it sounds like it might be coming soon so that's exciting! Funnest day of the week was definitely Saturday. Started off the day with a very long conversation with a 7th day Adventist. We were just going around doing vis...

Sick and sicker

Howdy yall, how is everybody doing? I appreciated all of those that reached out for my bday. Definitely made the mission bday a lot better. Mission bdays are just regular days lol. The sisters upstairs got me a cake tho so that was super sweet. Email me and let me know how your doing, I love hearing from yall. Well, not much happened this week. I was sick all week but still went out and did work. So i went through like 5 packages of kleenex all week. That was fun. But, anyways, we had exchanges on Tuesday. I went out with Elder Carpenter to my area Rose Hill which was fun. Got to love good ole Rose Hill. I've kind of started to enjoy the simplicity of Rose Hill. But ya, we went out there with not much success. Then, we wrapped up the day with some dinner at Pho King. Pretty sure they meant for the title to sound like that. Don't try to pronounce it. But ya that was good. Not many miracles this week other than the fact that we got somebody to church finally. Her name is Jamia an...

Well good morning folks. How is everybody? This week has been good, it kinda flew by. It was a very busy one that's for sure. Just doing good ol' mission work everyday. This was probably the best week for mission work. Had some crazy miracles I'll tell yall about. The first miracle happened on Thursday on exchanges. I went to College Hill with Elder Hatt. College Hill basically covers the areas around Wichita State. That was a wild day for sure. Anyways, we were teaching a lesson to this old guy named Mike. He had been taught for like 6 months so we kinda used the lesson as a practice for me. So I practiced my restoration. We didn't have any hopes for this lesson because he had never wanted to get baptized. But i got into the lesson and things were going great. The spirit was so strong it was crazy. Then he told us that he believed in the BOM and Joseph Smith and all that good stuff. So i was thinking why won't this guy get baptized. Elder Hatt then asked him "...

Bible bashed!

Good morning everybody. How is everybody doing. Lmk by sending me an email ( tyler.larson@missionary.org ) I love reading them. Just another week here in good ole rose hill Kansas. We started off the week doing exchanges which was fun going to a new area. I went to the college hill area and we stayed in the college hill elders apartment. Let me just say their apartment is 10x nicer than ours. They made ours look super ghetto. It's alright tho. Their area is also way better because it's in the city so they have way more houses and people to talk to. But ya we met this lady named Angie on exchanges and she was super elect and was super interested which was great. That was fun. The rest of the week was just regular old missionary work. I had my first Bible bash session which was fun. Which is probably the first of many since I'm right in the Bible belt. There's these trailer homes that are in the middle of nowhere which we have knocked quite a bit. So we went on Wednesday ...

Howdy yall, what is happening. This week has been a crazy week for sure. Last Tuesday we started our travel day at 3 in the a.m. We hopped on a bus and got to the airport at about 545. Then we had a flight at 845. We flew from slc to Dallas fort worth. Then we waited for an hour or 2 for our next flight. Then we flew to Kansas on possibly the smallest commercial plane every built. That was the most miserable plane ride ever. Then, we landed and got our luggage and found our mission president who is super cool. President Barr and his wife are the best. We had dinner at their house and then played some games and then spent the night at the APs house. That was fun. Then we woke up had some breakfast at the mission home and then went to our training to find our companions. That was boring but i found my comp and his name is elder Moon. He is super dope, love the guy. We get along pretty well and he is from Denver. Sorry about all this. It was a very busy two days. Anyways, the rest of the ...
