Hallelujah, praise the lord
Well good afternoon yall. What a week it has been. Just kidding it wasn't that interesting. Saturday was super fun tho. Email me tho I love hearing from you guys.
Didn't really do much this week except for regular mission work. Although, we did have zone conference which was nice being able to see the zone. Also, it was nice to just relax for a couple hours and listen to people give talks and stuff. So that was good. It was also nice to be able to talk to the president about stuff. President Barr is the man. This is the last week of the transfers so I'm kinda just riding it out.
Got some good news this week tho. A bunch of people have been getting their visas to New Zealand. Still haven't gotten mine tho. I'm like the last one to get it lol. But, it sounds like it might be coming soon so that's exciting!
Funnest day of the week was definitely Saturday. Started off the day with a very long conversation with a 7th day Adventist. We were just going around doing visits and we went and visited this guy named Larry. He was super nice. But then he just randomly started bashing us and wouldn't ever let us talk. We had to interrupt him if we wanted to say anything. The conversation went on for a little over an hour and a half on his front porch. Safe to say that he is not interested. But we did make a deal, if he reads the Book of Mormon, we would read his book haha. So we got some new literature that day. We had to like start walking away to end the conversation.
We had to get out of there because we had to get to another church service. We went to another church called Newspring church, it's a non denominational and we went to support a couple of our friends that go there. We walk in and there was security guards that guided us to our seat. They looked at us like we were aliens I'm not even kidding. Never felt weirder in my life. We walk in and there was legit a concert going on. People were like dancing and stuff. Then, once the concert was over they had some random pastor guy speak. After every single word that guy said, somebody would yell "hallelujah" "amen" "praise the lord". So fun honestly. Weirdest and most uncomfortable thing ever. They would pass around buckets for people to put cash in like every 5 minutes. Never felt so judged in my life lol. It was a good experience tho. Very weird and uncomfortable for sure.
But ya, other than that, not much has happened. Had a trunk or treat with the ward and a chili challenge so that was fun.
Anyways, hope yall are doing good and are staying safe. Have a good week yall. I love yall.
Happy Halloween!
