"The Book of the Vent"

What a week it has been. I can definitely second what Luke said about how the mtc is a spiritual prison. The first couple days are crazy and rough. But now im enjoying it. Me and the boys have been hanging out in the dorms. Occasionally me and the district will go play some ping pong at night and then go get some ice cream at the byu creamery. The district always plays volleyball which is sweet. I played ball once and since I don't have bball shoes I rolled my ankle like 5 times and now my ankle is sore so sadly I got to stick to volleyball. Other than exercise and chilling in the dorms, all I do is go to class and study. Classes are great tho, brother budge carries the mornings. He is the man, he is one of the only cool people I've met that is part of the ROC. If any of you know what the roc is you know they are all weird. But brother budge is dope, love that guy. Our other teacher is sister rich and she's super nice but man that class is a snooze fest. It's in the afternoon and that doesn't help.

A big announcement about this week is that on Monday i got temporarily reassigned to Wichita Kansas. Ya I know it's epic. You might be surprised but I was actually hyped to get called there. Not for the place but because i have a 4 kids in my district going there so I'll fly out with them. So ya looks like I'm gonna be teaching the gospel in some corn fields.

Probably should explain the title of this email. Me and the district found some things in our vents. We found some very old queso and salsa. We also found a Jesus sandal and a book called the book of the vent. We found it in both of the rooms that my district are in. So there are 2 books. We started to add to the novel. I wrote my excerpt called "The Book of Larson". So if any of you future elders going to the provo mtc and get room 415 in the building R5, look for some presents in the vent.

Ill give a summary of the at home MTC. Basically class, card games, and chilling with the family. That's about it.

Also Sundays here are the best. So spiritual and have not felt the lords love more than on Sunday. He definitely is real and I recommend if you guys have time to go listen to uchtdorfs talk in the October 2009 general conference called "The love of God".

Also, crazy thing happened. I'm on my way to class and a guy walks past me and has a giant bird on his shoulder. Apparently it just landed on him and followed him for the rest of the day.

Hope yall have a good week and love yall!!
