Transfers

Malo e lelei!! How is everybody doing? I hope all is well back home. Let me know if there is something I can pray for please. Anyways, this week was good. We had transfers on Tuesday and me and my companion stayed the same. Nothing really changed for us, just feels like another week. We are ready and excited for another transfer. We also have a lot of potential baptisms this transfer which is awesome.

Here's a little update on the work. Our friend Dante is still being baptized on the 6th of January. He's doing awesome. Also, his grandma set up the whole baptism already. So, me and my companion barely have to do anything. She's awesome and has helped heaps. We are also still trying to work with Isaiah and get him to work towards a date. One thing that is awesome is that Jonahs baptism 2 weeks ago started up some hype around baptism for all of his nephews, nieces and cousins that aren't baptized. So, the sisters and us have a lot of potential people to teach now. I'm actually loving it so much right now. The work is bumping and we're just seeing miracle after miracle. Jonah is still doing good, he comes to church every week all by himself. So props to him.

Here's a little spiritual thought for the week:
1 Nephi 17:3
3 And thus we see that the commandments of God must be fulfilled. And if it so be that the children of men keep the commandments of God he doth nourish them, and strengthen them, and provide means whereby they can accomplish the thing which he has commanded them; wherefore, he did provide means for us while we did sojourn in the wilderness

This scripture is talking about the hard journey that Nephi and his family went through. They faced lots of trials and challenges. But, because of their faith in keeping the commandments of God, God provided a way for them always. I too believe and know this also true for ourselves. Each of us is on our own little journey, with different challenges and burdens. I would like to specifically relate this scripture to my mission journey. I have had a lot of good times on the mission but also a lot of hard times. But, through all of it, God has provided a way for me in the good times and the hard times. He has strengthened me when I needed strength, and nourished me when I need nourishment. I know this can apply to all of you as well. God can and will strengthen us, nourish us, and provide a way for us if we simply keep his commandments! I love you all!
