ZC with the new President
Manuia le aso(good morning in samoan)! Hope you guys are doing good. This week was all good. It was unbelievably busy though. Which is always good so I'm not complaining.
We got caught with a lot of random things. We had to go get my license converted to a NZ license. So I'll be getting one of those this next week. We also had flat inspections which took way longer than it should have. Then, we had exchanges with the Westport elders which was awesome but a lot of driving. Then, to top off the week we had zone conference with the new Mission President which was awesome. We finally got to meet President and Sister Clark, and they are so cool. Honestly they are probably my favorite out of my mission presidents so far. They are super cool and driven which is good. I know they are going to do a lot of good for this mission, and I'm so glad I get to be here for it.
Anyways, the work is going alright. As I said earlier we didn't get much time to work in our own area. But the little bit of time we had was good. On Wednesday we had exchanges. So, we had to meet in the middle at Murchison to exchange. Which is an hour and a half drive for both us and the Westport elders. When we got there, we got it all done and I was on my way back to Nelson with Elder Clay. But, we realized Elder Clay still had the SIM card, which meant the other elders didn't have a SIM at all. So, we started driving back in the other direction to catch them and get them the SIM card. But, we couldn't catch them so we drove all the way to Westport hoping they went to their flat in Westport. So, we drove 1.5 hours in the wrong direction and then had to drive 3 hours back. So, that was a long day. But, it was a good exchange. Other than that, nothing really interesting happened this week.
Alright that's it from me, I'll share a spiritual thought with yall. This week at ZC we gave a training on testifying through our actions. We shared a quote from Deiter F. Uchtdorf "Preach the gospel at all times, and if necessary use words". Which to me, I think that this quote means we should show our testimony through our actions. The best way we can share our testimony of Jesus Christ is through Christlike actions. I can testify that our testimony is not only our words, but our actions as well.
I love you all and hope you have a good one. Fa soifua(goodbye)

some sick pics from our hike today at cable bay. This is what Nelson looks like everywhere. Seriously paradise and it's the middle of the winter.
