Last month, last transfer
Kia ora whanau!! I hope you have all had a great week. This week was pretty solid. We had some miracles which was awesome.
We were able to focus on our area a lot this week. We found some new people to teach and had some great lessons. I would like to share a miracle that happened this week. Last Wednesday in daily planning I felt inspired to continue knocking a street that we had knocked the week before. So, we planned for that. But, our schedule ended up getting pushed back because we got busy, and we had to decide whether we wanted to knock that street or do the things that got pushed back. I felt again that we should go and knock that street. So, we did. The very first door we knocked on was a girl named Lili. God had definitely been preparing her for us. She told us that she had just recently started to look for another church to attend. She also said that she was looking for people that could teach her about their church. We said "well here we are". We gave her a Book of Mormon and invited her to read the introduction. Then we invited her to come to a chapel tour on Saturday (which we had just planned to do before we started knocking). She willingly accepted. Then, a couple of days later we met her at the chapel tour, she loved it and we had a really spirit filled lesson when talking about the first vision painting at the chapel. She then recited to us the whole story of the angel Moroni visiting Joseph Smith. Turns out she read more than just the introduction. She had read all through the introduction, testimonies, and all the way up to 1 Nephi 3 in just a matter of a few days. She didn't come to church the next day because she got sick, but she said she's super excited to come next week. Please pray for Lili! It was so cool recognizing the spirit leading and guiding us in our work. Can't wait to see her grow and progress!
Anyways, that's about all from me. This week I start my last transfer which will only be a 4 week transfer. And I go home 1 month from today, so I'm going to try and give everything I can these last couple of weeks. The mission is a beautiful place and I'm going to miss it. Love you guys heaps. Have a good one!
