South Island Trip

Kia ora everybody! This week was a good week, but it was definitely a tiring one.


This whole week we had zone conferences down in the south island in Nelson, Christchurch, and Dunedin. So, we were sitting in a lot of meetings and after those meetings we would fly out to the next meeting. It's fun getting to see all the different places, but it is also extremely tiring. Especially when you are sleeping on the floor all week. We were able to have a couple of exchanges while we were down there which was awesome.

Other than that, I don't have much to talk about with you guys. Sorry, life has been pretty boring lately and not much new is happening for me to talk about with you guys. I'm doing awesome and just know that I love you guys and I pray about you guys all the time.

Lately I've been focusing a lot on Goals and Plans(shout out to CH. 8 of Preach my Gospel). It has been so beneficial for me lately. I truly do believe that setting goals and plans is a major part of living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that we can apply the Savior's Atonement through setting goals and making plans to achieve those goals. The Atonement allows us to change, and goals and plans are the means by which we can do so. That is at least what I have found lately. I have seen so much growth in myself because of goals and plans. But, most importantly I know that it is because of my Savior Jesus Christ that this is possible. I love the Savior and I know he loves me and each of you.

Malo e lelei everybody! I hope that you have all had a wonderful week. I hope that each of you wished your mothers a happy mothers day. If you haven't, make sure to go do that now. I would also like to apologize for being terrible at writing emails every week, especially to my mother. It's been a busy few weeks, but they have been awesome. We got to go to the temple again last week. So that meant packing up and driving a van 7 hours up to Hamilton with a bunch of other missionaries. It was super fun, I love a good road trip. I'm so blessed to have gone on a couple temple trips while I've been serving here. It is not to easy to get up there, and it definitely isn't cheap. Each time I go I am reminded of God's Plan of Salvation. One of the things that really stood out to me this time is that when we sacrifice things in our life, it is a similitude to the Savior's sacrifice. Miracles!!

Malo e lelei everybody!! This week was a pretty solid week. We kept super busy and had some success in our area. This week was transfers so we spent Monday to Thursday having meetings and planning for this next transfer. It is always a pretty stressful time, but we've made it and I won't have to do that again so I'm happy. We had a great MLC meeting on Wednesday. The spirit was super strong the whole time. It was definitely my favorite one that I have had. We had a lot of success with one of our friends that we found last week. Her name is Lili, I think I mentioned her last week. Anyways, this week we caught up with her and had a lesson. We set a date for baptism with her on the 27th of this month. She also came to church the next day and loved every minute of it. We have multiple members that are fellowshipping her. They have invited her to institute and other activities. It has been awesome to see. She is progressing so fast that I can't even keep up. Last month, last transfer

Kia ora whanau!! I hope you have all had a great week. This week was pretty solid. We had some miracles which was awesome. We were able to focus on our area a lot this week. We found some new people to teach and had some great lessons. I would like to share a miracle that happened this week. Last Wednesday in daily planning I felt inspired to continue knocking a street that we had knocked the week before. So, we planned for that. But, our schedule ended up getting pushed back because we got busy, and we had to decide whether we wanted to knock that street or do the things that got pushed back. I felt again that we should go and knock that street. So, we did. The very first door we knocked on was a girl named Lili. God had definitely been preparing her for us. She told us that she had just recently started to look for another church to attend. She also said that she was looking for people that could teach her about their church. We said "well here we are".
