Super busy
Kia ora everybody!! Sorry for no email, I haven't had the time or motivation to write one. I've been good though, just been really busy which is awesome on the mission.
We had transfers last week and I got transferred next doorš¤£. President called me 2 Thursdays ago and told me he needed me to be one of his assistants. I started laughing when he said it, but of course i accepted the offer. So, this last week has been a little different. We have gone to bed at about midnight every night and woken up at 4 or 5 every day. It's been super tiring, but it's been good for me. I’m sure it will teach me a lot. I'll just give a list of what we did last week:
-picked up the intake and spent the whole day with them.
-then had to pick up and drive missionaries for transfers
-spent the day with the outtake missionaries and had a goodbye devotional. Then dropped them off at the airport the next day
-had mlc on Friday.
-had exchanges with the Christchurch elders
Currently I am typing this email on the way to the temple. We are about 6 hours into a 7 hour drive right now so I'm on the edge of my seat. It's such a blessing that I get to go to the temple again. It is not easy to do so here in NZ. Our MP is trying to get all the missionaries to the temple at least once which is awesome. We are just helping with travel. Anyways it's late and I want sleep so I'll leave it at that. Just know that I'm doing good and I love the mission. I love my Savior Jesus Christ, and I love the temple.
Here's something that's been on my mind a lot lately: one of the definitions of the word "sacrifice" is "to make sacred". I absolutely love that because the gospel of Jesus Christ is full of sacrifices. We sacrifice things all the time in order to keep the commandments and live the gospel. But, it's amazing to know that all of the sacrifices we make are to help sanctify us. So to all of you, I would say to embrace sacrifice. It will bless you for the rest of your life.
Have a good week everybody. Love yall!
