Miracles!
Kia ora everybody!! I hope you all had a great week this week. This week was a pretty good week. We were pretty busy and it flew by.
I'll start with some awesome news that we got on Tuesday at MLC. So, our mission president told us that next transfer we will be having MLC in Hamilton! Honestly the best news I've heard in years. We will be going up to Hamilton for a few days and we will get to go to the temple and do heaps of other things. So hyped because I've missed going to the temple so much on the mission.
Also, on exchanges we went and visited this family in our ward that I felt we needed to go visit. The dad is a returning member and he's pretty cool. Come to find out that he has 5 unbaptized kids and they all want to be baptized. They all want to be baptized because their cousin got baptized a couple weeks ago. Their cousin is Jonah (the kid we baptized a few weeks ago). So that is super exciting that we get to start teaching them and help them be baptized. It's been cool to see how much of an impact Jonahs baptism has had on others. Our other friend Dante is still on date for the 6th of January. He's doing all good and is excited to be baptized! Another girl got baptized this week that me and Elder Tuiaki found. It was pretty cool to see. We found her a couple of months back and we passed her over to the sisters, so getting to see that was awesome. The work is flourishing rn and I'm loving it. I hope I stay here in Porirua forever!
The rest of the week we were just doing service. That kept us busy all week and we didn't really get as much time for missionary work as we would have liked.
Here's a little spiritual thought for yall:
2 Nephi 2:24
24 But behold, all things have been done in the wisdom of him who knoweth all things.
I love this scripture because it helps me understand that all things were created by somebody who knows everything. The creation of this earth, our own bodies, and everything that was created was created perfectly. If we ever have any doubts about our own physical qualities or our personality, just remember that God made you the way you are for a reason. If we could all see ourselves the way God sees us, we would never judge ourselves the way that we do. God created you all perfectly, He knows you perfectly, and he loves you all perfectly.
Have a good week everybody!!
