Transfers

Kia ora whanau!! How was everybody's week? I hope it was wonderful. This week was honestly such a great week.

First of all, lets get into transfer news. So, I'm staying here in Porirua and getting a new companion. His name is elder Fa'oliu and he's from Tonga🇹🇴. I've served with him before and he's the man. Honestly I'm super excited to stay and for my companion as well.

Heres a little update on the work. So, this week we were able to put one of our friends Jonah on date for December 2nd. Also, his friend Isaiah that we've been trying to work with decided to join the lessons and now he is on date for the 2nd as well. So, that was a really cool miracle. This all happened because of one of our members who is good buddies with them. So, everybody please pray for Jonah and Isaiah. I'm super excited to keep working with them.

Not much else has happened this week. I had to sing at one of our devotionals and man that was nerve wracking. I've never sung outside of the shower before so it was pretty sketchy for me. But, because my companion is a musical prodigy, the ward is always asking him to do musical numbers and I just happened to be a feature on one of them. Also, we picked up another companion Elder Whitehead for the week. They flew him out a week early so he just came with us for the week. It was quite the interesting trio. But, it was a good week nonetheless.

I just remembered that I turned 20 this week. That honestly was really weird. I completely forget about it until the day of. It really just feels like another day on the mission. Birthdays on the mission really aren't anything special. I just felt really old all day. I can say that my last bday on the mission was pretty good tho. Thanks to everybody that wished me a happy bday. I really appreciate it!

Anyways, I love you all and hope you have a great week!
