Sick and 1 year

Kia ora yall, hows the week going for everybody? Hope yall had a great week. This week was kinda rough not going to lie.

Not much happened this week because me and my companion got super sick for half the week. So, we weren't able to do much. But, we had exchanges with Blenheim for the other days. That was awesome. We saw some great miracles come from it. We saw a cool miracle with a couple of teenage boys walking home from school. Me and Elder Agung were stepping out of our car to go visit somebody. I noticed a kid walking down the street, but I for some reason just didn't feel like talking to him. Which is weird because I usually talk to everybody we see. Not too sure why I didnt. Anyways, he started walking past us and when he walked past me he yelled "**** man your tall as ****". I started laughing and then had a good chat with him. He was super cool and talked to me about how he finds contradictions in the Bible. I was about to start to teaching about the book of Mormon and stuff, but then 2 more guys interrupted us. We started chatting with them as well. It was an awesome conversation and they were all keen to learn more about the Book of Mormon. So, please keep Israel, Kaziah, and Andres in your prayers!

That's about it tho. Not much else happened this week because we were sick. This next week is going to be great tho.

Also, 1 year ago today I was set apart to be a missionary. It's pretty crazy thinking about how much I've changed since 1 year ago today. So far I've had 6 areas and 11 companions. I've loved my mission so far and wouldn't change it for anything. This year honestly flew by, it feels like last month I was set apart. I guess time flies when your working hard. To any of you who are on the fence of serving a mission, or don't want to. I would like to say that going on a mission is the best choice anybody can make. It's super hard and there's a lot of rough days, but it's totally worth it. I've grown more in this 1 year than I have in my entire life. So, just go on a mission yall! Here's a great scripture to describe a mission:
Alma 26:29
29 And we have entered into their houses and taught them, and we have taught them in their streets; yea, and we have taught them upon their hills; and we have also entered into their temples and their synagogues and taught them; and we have been cast out, and mocked, and spit upon, and smote upon our cheeks; and we have been stoned, and taken and bound with strong cords, and cast into prison; and through the power and wisdom of God we have been delivered again.

Anyways, I love yous heaps. Aroha!
