Kia ora yall!! Hope you are all having a good week! This week was a great week in the New area. This email is going to be quick because I don't have much time.
This week I arrived here in Porirua and was able to get things started up in the new area. The new area is awesome and I'm hyped to get things going here. This week we have been super busy with a lot of work which has been good. There is heaps of opportunity here which is exciting. We also saw heaps of miracles this week. It was honestly a really fun week for work. Sadly, none of our friends came to church tho. We'll just have to get them next week.
One of the miracles from this week came on Sunday. So, my companion Elder Tuiaki is an incredible musician and singer. He is unbelievably talented with any instrument. So, this week for Maori language week our sacrament was in all Maori, so not a sentence of English was spoken. It was pretty cool, but what was coolest was that they asked my comp to sing a Maori hymn during sacrament. It was amazing, and everybody loved it. And after sacrament, one of the members (less active that only came for the Maori sacrament meeting) told one of our members that she cried because of the song and she has recommitted herself to come back to church now. It's such a crazy story but man it's so awesome and such a miracle. God truly does use our talents for his work. Which ties into my spiritual thought:
God has given us each talents and strengths. All of our talents and strengths are unique and different from each other. God has made us this way for a reason. He made us the way we are so that we could help further his work on the earth. So, we must use our talents to help in the work. In the parable of the talents, the Master gave 3 different people each a different amount of talents. One 5, the other 2, and the other 1. The one with 5 doubled it, and the one with 2 doubled his talents as well, and the master was happy with them. But, the one with 1 talent decided to hide it, and the master was not happy with it. Our heavenly father wants us and needs us to use our special gifts and share them with others.
Anyways, that's it from me yall. I love yous heaps. Have a good one!

said goodbye to our friend Wayne. He came to the airport to say goodbye. That was pretty cool.
one of the Nelson members gave me their special Tongan flower necklace. I can't remember the name. It's some long Tongan word. But the necklace is pretty cool.
