Off to Kansas

Well, today is my last day here at the Provo MTC. I actually had a ton of fun this last week and enjoyed my time. But man I could not spend another week here. Good luck to all the kids doing language. This place is special but I can't wait to be out in the public and get away from the cafeteria. I guess we'll see how my stomach adjusts to real food. I don't know what food they got in Kansas but it's definitely better than the food here. I will say that it was nice to see some buddies here before we all go our own ways. Time actually kind of flew by here which is weird.


I go to the travel office tomorrow starting the day at 430, even though my flight isn't until 840. Then for some reason they fly us out to Dallas fort worth which is way out of the way of Kansas. Then we have another flight to Kansas. So its gonna take about 9 hours to get to Kansas. Apparently we have to fly from Dallas to avoid tornadoes. Just kidding I have no idea, I think they are gonna have us fly out in a duster plane or something.

Not much happened here this week at the mtc. Just chilling, and playing ping pong for about 4 hours a day. We finished our last class on Saturday which was great and we capped it off with a great testimony meeting. We also said goodbye to brother budge who is the man. But right before we dropped off some sisters today we saw him and that was super cool. Love that guy. But ya it's been a good week of classes. The lessons started to get repetitive the last 2 days. Except for this sub we had named brother Larose and he was an absolute genius. Dude seemed like an apostle. Everyday is like the same here honestly. Started packing this morning and goodness, packing is the worst. We literally have nothing to do today other than that so we played tag which showed just how out of shape I am. 

One thing that i started is that I listen to a conference talk right before bed every night. I would recommend yall do the same because they are so good. I'm so hyped for conference this Saturday and Sunday. Yall should all go watch conference this weekend. I have a feeling this one is going to be insane.

Malo e lelei everybody! I hope that you have all had a wonderful week. I hope that each of you wished your mothers a happy mothers day. If you haven't, make sure to go do that now. I would also like to apologize for being terrible at writing emails every week, especially to my mother. It's been a busy few weeks, but they have been awesome. We got to go to the temple again last week. So that meant packing up and driving a van 7 hours up to Hamilton with a bunch of other missionaries. It was super fun, I love a good road trip. I'm so blessed to have gone on a couple temple trips while I've been serving here. It is not to easy to get up there, and it definitely isn't cheap. Each time I go I am reminded of God's Plan of Salvation. One of the things that really stood out to me this time is that when we sacrifice things in our life, it is a similitude to the Savior's sacrifice. Miracles!!

Malo e lelei everybody!! This week was a pretty solid week. We kept super busy and had some success in our area. This week was transfers so we spent Monday to Thursday having meetings and planning for this next transfer. It is always a pretty stressful time, but we've made it and I won't have to do that again so I'm happy. We had a great MLC meeting on Wednesday. The spirit was super strong the whole time. It was definitely my favorite one that I have had. We had a lot of success with one of our friends that we found last week. Her name is Lili, I think I mentioned her last week. Anyways, this week we caught up with her and had a lesson. We set a date for baptism with her on the 27th of this month. She also came to church the next day and loved every minute of it. We have multiple members that are fellowshipping her. They have invited her to institute and other activities. It has been awesome to see. She is progressing so fast that I can't even keep up. Last month, last transfer

Kia ora whanau!! I hope you have all had a great week. This week was pretty solid. We had some miracles which was awesome. We were able to focus on our area a lot this week. We found some new people to teach and had some great lessons. I would like to share a miracle that happened this week. Last Wednesday in daily planning I felt inspired to continue knocking a street that we had knocked the week before. So, we planned for that. But, our schedule ended up getting pushed back because we got busy, and we had to decide whether we wanted to knock that street or do the things that got pushed back. I felt again that we should go and knock that street. So, we did. The very first door we knocked on was a girl named Lili. God had definitely been preparing her for us.
